Have you ever read the back of a NOW magazine? "secks" (a web euphemism for the act that cannot be publicly advertised) parodies infamous Adult Classified Ads in the form of a colouring concertina book. SECKS pokes fun at the not-so-sly and oh-so-suggestive methods of advertising sex in a way that highlights the awkward tension between the public and private world of sex / 2013
Measuring at 48" long and 7.75" high (double-sided) you can experience SECKS as a book or unfold it to admire the art work.
Inspired by the pink "Hot Male Models Needed" ads posted around student campus' downtown Toronto.
Suggested Colours: 'Succulent Pink', 'Good Clean Fawn', 'Violet's Beaver', 'Scarlet Fever', 'Jack Hoff White'...
